اقرأ قصة مغامرة عائلة Nawaf في جبال السودة قرب أبها، ثم مقالًا عن التغير المناخي. بعد كل نص ستجد كلمات صعبة ومهارة محددة.

النص الأول: A Family Adventure in the Mountains (قصة)

Last Thursday, Nawaf's family went on an adventure to the Sudah Mountains near Abha. They woke up early and drove to the mountains.

First, they parked the car and walked along a stone path. The air was cool and fresh, and the hills were green. Nawaf's father said, "Let's go to the bridge over the stream."

Next, they crossed the bridge, but soon fog came down. It was foggy, and they couldn't see the path. Nawaf's mother stayed calm. She said, "Let's stop and listen to each other. We might go the wrong way." Nawaf remembered the map in his bag. He took it out and read it carefully.

Then they turned left at a big stone and walked north. After half an hour, the fog went away, and they saw a beautiful valley.

Finally, they sat on a rock and had lunch. Nawaf said, "This was the best adventure ever!" His father smiled and said, "Next time, we will bring a flashlight too."

النص الثاني: Our Changing Climate (مقال)

Climate change means the weather on Earth is slowly changing. Over many years, the average temperature of the planet is getting higher. This is called global warming.

The main reason is that people burn too much oil and gas. Cars, factories, and power stations send gas into the air, and this gas keeps heat near the Earth.

Climate change has many effects. The oceans are getting warmer, and ice at the North Pole is melting. Some places have more storms, and other places have less rain. In some cities, the summers are becoming hotter.

But we can help. We can plant trees, save water and electricity, use public transport, and recycle. In Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Green Initiative is planting millions of trees to protect the environment. Small actions from everybody can make a big difference.
